As Top Player Slams Roster Chaos, Scout Unveils Radical "Academy" To Fix Indian Esports' Biggest Problem

The Indian esports scene is a mess of roster shuffles. As one player calls out the problem, industry titan Scout has just announced a radical new solution an academy team to foster stability.

The Indian esports scene is a chaotic, high-stakes game of musical chairs, and it’s holding the entire region back. That’s the damning verdict from pro player Aaru, who recently called out the community for its “weak integrity” and the constant, dizzying roster shuffles that happen after every tournament. But just as the community was digesting that harsh truth, industry titan and esports icon Scout dropped a bombshell announcement that might just be the solution everyone has been waiting for.

In a candid video, Aaru didn't pull any punches when describing the biggest problem plaguing the professional BGMI circuit.

“The integrity of Indian teams, I still feel is a bit weak and can be better,” he stated, pointing directly at the Indian Esports Roster Shuffle. “After every tournament, there are so many roster shuffles that the whole community is here and there, players from there are here… and there is also a poaching scene in between. I guess all those things just take us one step back from the outside teams.”

Aaru’s criticism highlights a long-standing issue: while international teams often stick together for years, building synergy and strategy, Indian teams frequently blow up their rosters in search of a quick fix. This “poaching scene,” as he calls it, creates instability and prevents teams from reaching their full potential.

Enter Scout. In what seems like a direct answer to Aaru’s critique, the co-owner of Revenant Esports and a pillar of the Scout BGMI community announced a radical new direction for his other team, Team Wild Fang.

Wild Fang, Scout declared, is being transformed into an “academy lineup” with a groundbreaking mission: to end the cycle of instability for up-and-coming players.

“I will just say to Wi-Fi that it’s gonna be an academy lineup for all the underdogs who have a good performing lineup but don’t have sponsors or are struggling a lot,” Scout announced on his stream. “Wi-Fi is for them. We will bring them there, we will allot them, we will nurture them and they will do it.”

This is a game-changer. Instead of just buying the hottest players after a tournament, Scout is proposing a new model: a BGMI academy lineup that invests in talent for the long term. He’s creating a safe haven for skilled teams who have the talent but lack the financial backing to survive the cutthroat world of professional esports.

“This is the most mature move we’ve seen from a team owner in years,” an esports analyst told DeetsDaily. “While others are fighting over the same handful of star players, Scout is building a sustainable future. He’s not just buying players; he’s investing in the entire ecosystem. This is how you solve the player poaching problem.”

The vision for Wild Fang directly addresses the issues raised by Aaru BGMI. Where Aaru sees a lack of integrity and stability, Scout’s academy offers a path to professionalism and growth. It’s a system designed to find raw talent and give it the resources needed to flourish, creating a new generation of loyal, stable, and highly skilled teams.

The timing of these two announcements—one diagnosing the disease, the other presenting a cure—has the entire Indian esports community buzzing. It feels like a potential turning point for a scene that has long been held back by its own chaotic nature.

Will Scout’s academy model be the fix that Indian esports has been desperately waiting for? Will other major organizations follow his lead and invest in nurturing new talent rather than just poaching established stars? The plan has been laid out, and a generation of underdog players is watching with bated breath. The great Indian esports roster shuffle might finally be coming to an end.
