"Rise & Fall" ROASTED! Is This New Reality Show a BIGG BOSS Wannabe?
"Hold onto your popcorn, because there's a new reality show in town, and it's already getting BRUTALLY roasted! Rise & Fall, the show that's being called a Bigg Boss wannabe, is getting dragged by YouTubers and fans alike for its cringe concept and problematic contestants."
Hold onto your popcorn, because there's a new reality show in town, and it's already getting BRUTALLY roasted by Thugesh! "Rise & Fall," the show that's being called a "Bigg Boss wannabe," is getting dragged by YouTubers and fans alike for its "cringe" concept and "problematic" contestants.
The show, which is hosted by former Shark Tank India judge Ashneer Grover, features a mix of celebrities and influencers who are divided into two groups: "Rulers" and "Workers." The Rulers live in a luxury penthouse, while the Workers are stuck in a basement, doing tasks to climb up the social ladder.
But according to popular YouTuber Thugesh, the only original thing about the show is his roast of it. In a recent video, Thugesh slammed the show for its "borrowed" concept and its "cringe" host.
"Salman Khan throws people out of his show," Thugesh said. "Ashneer was thrown out of his own company."
The contestants are also getting a lot of heat. Dhanashree Verma, who is married to cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, is being accused of using her "divorce story" for sympathy. Arush Bhola, a popular YouTuber, is being called out for his "problematic" content. And Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh is making the female contestants "scared to be in the same house as him."
A source close to the production told DeetsDaily, "The show is a disaster. The contestants are fighting all the time, and the ratings are terrible. They're trying to create a 'Bigg Boss' level of drama, but it's just not working."
An insider from a rival network said, "We're not surprised. 'Rise & Fall' is a cheap copy of a foreign show that didn't even last one season. They should have known better."
The internet is having a field day with this show.
One user on Twitter wrote, "Rise & Fall is the cringiest show I've ever seen. I can't believe they got Ashneer Grover to host it."
Another user commented, "The contestants are all so problematic. I hope this show gets cancelled."
With so much negativity surrounding the show, it's unclear if "Rise & Fall" will even make it to the end of its first season. Will the producers be able to turn things around? Or is this show destined to be a one-season wonder? We'll be watching to find out.
