Mazy Slams Team 4tr's "Big Mistake" Of Benching Their Winning Lineup For Z-God

Mazy is not holding back in his analysis of Team 4TR's recent struggles. The BGMI pro has slammed the team for their decision to change their lineup, and he's not optimistic about their future.

In a scathing and brutally honest assessment, BGMI pro and analyst Mazy has slammed Team 4TR for their "big mistake" of changing their winning lineup and bringing in Z-God, a move that he believes has led to their disastrous performance in the ongoing BMSD tournament.

Team 4TR, who were once considered to be one of the rising stars of the Indian BGMI scene, have had a rough couple of months. After a strong showing in the league stage of the BGMS, they were unceremoniously eliminated from the semifinals. And now, in the BMSD, they are sitting at the absolute bottom of the table, a far cry from the dominant form they had shown just a few months ago.

So, what went wrong?

According to Mazy, the answer is simple: they messed with a winning formula.

"I don't think anyone has any expectations from 4TR because they changed their previous playing four lineup and gave Z-God a chance," Mazy said in a recent stream. "But the problem with Z-God is that if you ask a player who hasn't been that active in esports for the past three-four years to play in a LAN environment, it's not his fault."

It's a harsh but fair assessment. Z-God, while a talented player in his own right, has been out of the competitive scene for a long time. To throw him into the high-pressure environment of a LAN tournament, with a new team and a new system, was a recipe for disaster.

"I don't know what they were thinking not changing the playing four for so long," Mazy continued, his frustration evident. "Well, that's up to their management, 4TR, and their IGL. But still, I believe their previous four players were doing very well."

It's a sentiment that is shared by many in the community. The previous 4TR lineup was a well-oiled machine, a team that had a clear identity and a strong sense of synergy. They were a team on the rise, a team that had the potential to challenge the top dogs of the Indian BGMI scene.

But then, for reasons that are still not entirely clear, they decided to make a change. They benched one of their core players and brought in Z-God, a move that has clearly backfired.

"It's a big opportunity to go to the Global Championship, and I believe that if God and everyone got an invite to the upper bracket, it's because they actually deserved it," Mazy said, referring to the other top teams in the tournament. "They were actually playing well. And it's the Global Championship, bro. A chance to represent India. So you can't take it so lightly."

The message is clear: Team 4TR has squandered a golden opportunity. They had a winning team, a chance to make a name for themselves on the global stage, and they threw it all away for a risky and ill-advised roster change.

But Mazy has not given up on them completely. He still believes that they have the potential to turn things around, but it's going to take a monumental effort.

"I'm expecting that from today, the players of 4TR will show up," he said. "Especially Pan-is-Live. He is their main assaulter. If the main assaulter himself can't get frags, then..."

He didn't need to finish the sentence. The implication was clear: the pressure is on. The players of 4TR need to step up, and they need to do it now. Their tournament lives, and their chances of representing India on the global stage, are on the line.

What do you think of Mazy's assessment of Team 4TR? Do you agree that they made a mistake by changing their lineup? And do you think they can still turn things around? Let us know in the comments below.
