Krafton's Shocking Admission: The Truth About BGMI's Hacker Problem
The days of cheating in BGMI are numbered. Krafton has declared an all-out war on hackers, and they're not taking any prisoners.
The battle for the soul of Battlegrounds Mobile India is raging, and Krafton is finally pulling back the curtain on their secret war against the hacker epidemic that has plagued the game for years. In a shockingly candid interview, Krafton's Karan Pathak has revealed the true scale of the problem, and it's bigger and more complex than anyone could have imagined.
"It's a daily fight," Pathak admitted, his words sending a chill down the spine of every legitimate BGMI player. "If you think we are not doing anything... no bro, the effort is full."
For years, players have been crying out for Krafton to do more to combat the rampant cheating in the game. From aimbots and wallhacks to speed hacks and recoil scripts, the list of exploits is endless. And for many, it has felt like their pleas have been falling on deaf ears.
But now, for the first time, Krafton is giving us a glimpse into the trenches of their anti-cheat war. And what they reveal is a staggering and almost unwinnable battle against an army of faceless enemies.
"There will be a whole security unit," Pathak explained. "Let's just say they are developing this and there is a hacker here. That hacker, as soon as this code is launched, will bring out codes against it to fight. Its codes are being launched every 10 minutes. These poor guys have to fight 1 lakh or 10 lakh or 20 lakh codes."
The numbers are mind-boggling. A small team of developers fighting against millions of lines of code, a new one created every 10 minutes. It's a war of attrition, and the hackers have the advantage of numbers.
But Krafton is not backing down. "I think banning these multiple five-six lakhs is hats off to the team at the back end who have been supporting everyone," Pathak said, a note of pride in his voice. "We have seen it in the past that games have gone down. Thanks to these hackers. I say trying because this code is changing daily."
The interview has been met with a mixture of shock and relief from the BGMI community. On one hand, it's a sobering look at the scale of the problem. On the other, it's a reassuring sign that Krafton is taking the issue seriously and is committed to fighting the good fight.
"I had no idea it was this bad," one fan wrote on Reddit. "I have a newfound respect for the Krafton team."
"This is the transparency we've been asking for," another commented. "It's good to know that they're not just ignoring the problem."
But the war is far from over. The hackers are constantly evolving, and Krafton will have to continue to adapt and innovate if they want to stay one step ahead.
