The internet is ON FIRE! The protests in Nepal have sparked a HUGE online war in India, and some of your favorite YouTubers are caught in the crossfire! It all started when people started posting things like, "Gen Z in Nepal brought down the government, when will this happen in India?"
But things really exploded when YouTuber Arpit Sharma posted a video with the caption, "Nepal's youth did it. Now it's India's turn. Jai Hind." In the video, he wished that the youth of India would also protest against corruption and other issues.
The backlash was INSTANT! People started tagging the police, accusing him of inciting violence. One user tweeted, "@DelhiPolice he is directly provoking people. Please take necessary action against him." Another one wrote, "This guy is inciting people to start violence in India... Arrest him."
Arpit Sharma didn't back down! He posted another video, clapping back at his haters. "If you don't understand my video after watching it once, watch it three times," he said. "Have I used the word 'violence' anywhere in it? All I said was that the youth of India... should unitedly raise their voice." He ended the video by telling his critics to "Go to hell."
And he's not the only one in hot water! UPSC trainer Vijendra Chauhan also got into trouble after he tweeted about the Nepal protests, asking, "who is next?" He was slammed by users who accused him of being an "anarchist" and an "urban Naxal." He later deleted the tweet.
Now, even the government is getting involved! The National Crime Investigation Bureau issued a warning on Twitter, saying, "Anyone who says 'India is next' after the Nepal protests should be monitored closely."
This is a developing story, and it's getting messier by the second. What do you think? Are these YouTubers just exercising their free speech, or are they taking things too far? Let us know in the comments!
