Dynamo Gaming’s 10 Million Subscriber Channel SAVED: Explosive Extortion Plot Exposed After Fake Copyright Strikes!

Dynamo Gaming's massive YouTube channel faced deletion after three copyright strikes and an alleged extortion attempt. The gaming star fought back, exposing a shocking plot and saving his channel with the help of his community.

The Indian gaming community just witnessed a real-life thriller unfold as Dynamo Gaming, one of YouTube's biggest stars with a colossal 10 million subscribers, narrowly escaped the termination of his channel after a shocking plot involving fake copyright strikes and an alleged multi-crore extortion attempt! This isn't just about a few videos; it's a chilling exposé of how YouTube's copyright system can be weaponized, and how a gaming legend fought back with the unwavering support of his fans and fellow creators.

The nightmare began in August 2025 when Dynamo's channel received a copyright strike. While initially kept private, the situation escalated rapidly. By August 30, Dynamo publicly announced the crisis, and after that, guys, today suddenly a tweet came from Dynamo Gaming. Tagging YouTube India, he wrote that his channel has received three copyright strikes, two of which are fake and one is on a reaction video. And guys, you probably know what three copyright strikes mean: YouTube channel termination, meaning deletion. Regarding this, Dynamo wrote, "Now my channel is going to be deleted in 7 days. This is a complete misuse of the copyright strike system. @YouTubeIndia please support."

But the story took an even darker turn. Dynamo revealed the orchestrator behind these malicious strikes: a former YouTuber who used to stream-snipe and cheat in games back in 2017-2018. This individual, who allegedly used "cheats and hacks in the backend to finish streamers," was now attempting to extort Dynamo.

Dynamo's manager, his maternal uncle, engaged in a conversation with the claimant, whose demands were nothing short of outrageous. "Their demands... like there were four people. Four people were saying things. Someone is saying, 'Play with us for 7-10 days. Make content with us. Promote us. Make a video saying sorry and upload it.'" The audacity of demanding an apology video for actions committed years ago, especially when the claimant himself was allegedly cheating, was staggering.

The most shocking demand, however, was financial. "One guy said that, 'Back then, I used to earn two lakh rupees, one and a half lakh rupees every month. So, adding up all those months from seven years ago, the total amount comes to around one and a half to two crore rupees. You give me that amount.'" A call recording later confirmed this direct demand for a staggering sum of money, painting a clear picture of an extortion attempt. The claimant even argued that his career was impacted, stating, "My YouTube payment was more than Dynamo's at that time. So imagine how much I would be getting today if my career hadn't been impacted."

Initially, Team YouTube's response was grim: "Your channel has been scheduled for termination due to the strikes. If you want to prevent this, you can file a counter-notification." Dynamo, feeling helpless, even uploaded a video titled "Goodbye," believing his channel was doomed. "I have no option left now, guys. Like, now YouTube itself is saying that my gameplay is not my gameplay. I've used someone else's content. So the strike he has given is a valid strike."

But the Indian gaming community rallied. Legends like MortaL, Destro, and Goldy Bhai publicly supported Dynamo, urging fans not to spam but to trust in the process. MortaL tweeted, "Dynamo's channel will come back, guys. Don't worry. Don't spam repeatedly. I have already said it. I have also approached the YouTube team regarding this. They said they will fix it. Don't worry about it. Okay? It will take a little time, but it will be done."

The collective voice of the community, combined with Dynamo's public appeal, forced Team YouTube to re-evaluate. In a dramatic turn of events, YouTube India replied again to Dynamo's post: "We've just reviewed the strikes again and can confirm that two of them are invalid. The two videos have been reinstated. For the 3rd video, your appeal has been forwarded to the claimant. If they don't respond in 10 business days, the video will be reinstated & the strike will be removed. We understand this has been a frustrating experience, and we're truly sorry for the trouble. Appreciate you bearing with us."

This is a monumental victory for Dynamo Gaming and a stark warning about the vulnerabilities of creators to copyright abuse and extortion. It highlights the critical need for platforms to have robust systems that protect creators from malicious actors. The support from the community, as Aadi bhai noted, was instrumental: "The public that loves you is such that 12-13,000 people were sitting on the stream then, everyone was spamming in a line, 'Resolve Dynamo bhai's issue, get it resolved.'"

The Dynamo Gaming copyright strike saga is a powerful reminder that even the biggest creators are not immune to the dark side of the internet. But it's also a testament to the strength of community and the importance of fighting for what's right. What do you think of this shocking extortion plot? And what more can YouTube do to protect its creators? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
