AVINASH KUMAR SLAMS YouTube FanFest for Snubbing Educational Creators!
"YouTuber Avinash Kumar is NOT happy with YouTube FanFest, and he's taking to the internet to call them out!"
YouTuber Avinash Kumar is NOT happy with YouTube FanFest, and he's taking to the internet to call them out! The creator, with over a million followers, is disappointed that the annual event primarily invites entertainment creators, leaving out the educational YouTubers who are "actually making an impact on this younger generation."
In a fiery video, Avinash pleaded, "Help me get this message to YouTube. YouTube FanFest is happening tomorrow, but only entertainment creators are invited... In our YouTube industry, there are many sophisticated educational YouTubers too." He highlighted creators like Nitish Rajput and GetSetFly Science, asking, "Why do we never see them on stage as special guests?"
Avinash argues that this "monopoly" by entertainment creators sends the wrong message, inspiring audiences to only pursue entertainment content. "If only entertainment YouTubers are seen on stage, then the audience gets inspired in that way. They think, 'Why should I even make educational content?'"
He even revealed that he received an invitation himself, but still feels slighted. "The point is about changing the system of how we see entertainment YouTubers as gods. Despite them promoting fake apps, people still praise them." He contrasted this with educational creators who "change people's mindset in an actual way without promoting bad apps."
The internet is buzzing with this debate! Many are agreeing with Avinash, calling for more recognition for educational content. What do you think? Should YouTube FanFest be more inclusive of all types of creators? Let us know in the comments!
